4/22/2012 As a small token of our appreciation we are hosting our annual landowners dinner this Sunday (4/29) from 5 to 7 pm at the Solon Masonic Hall. Thanks to all landowners in Solon and statewide that allow us to use their land, they make our sport possible! SSH

3/11/2012 Trails are CLOSED. The trails could not take the warm temps any longer. We have already had one landowner have a truck drive down our trail and across his lawn. It is actions like this that put our trails and our sport in jeopardy! Hopefully there was no damage and will be able to continue our use of this trail! Enjoy the spring. SSH

3/9/2012 The warm temps yesterday have taken a toll on the trails. It looks like colder weather will be in place for the weekend. We will take a look at the trails and see if there is enough snow left to groom so check back for updates. Please use caution as new hazzards from the snow melting will be showing up. SSH

3/7/2012 We headed out with the groomer to flatten out ITS 87 last night, but suffered a breakdown and only completed half of the trail. The groomer is out of the way and will hopefully be returning to the shed today so use caution as you may see us on the trail in the day time. SSH

3/5/2012 We made it through the weekend storm in good shape. We ended up with about 3" of snow and very little mixing. We recieved about 3" of new snow last night. We will not be grooming tonight as we have our montly meeting. We will discuss the weather forecast and come up with a grooming schedule for the upcoming week. Hopefully the temps stay below freezing. SSH
