ITS 87 and Connector 113 were groomed last night. They both came out great. Watch for fallen branches and snow drifts. It was very windy last night!

We have over a foot of new snow and it is still coming down hard! As soon as we get dug out we will be out with the groomers. Please be allow some time as we have to shuttle fuel manually to the groomers, in addition to that we may take the machines out to pack without the drags. Special thanks to all involved in our temporary re-route around the closed section of land. New landowners, all the volunteers that made it happen and Maine DOT for making the snow bank flat for use to ride on!
Ride safe SSH. ITS 87 and 113, club trail 23 have all been packed and opened up. Club trail 22 has been done from the intersection with 23 out to the Iron Gate Road. 22 between ITS 87 and Hole in the Wall Road is closed for a couple weeks for a logging operation. Even with the cold weather early season conditions exist. Due to the windstorm cleanup this fall there are still some trail sections that need to get brushed back. Ride safe. SSH.
Spring is here. Almost time to pack it in....we are currently not grooming, but with the new snow the trails will remain open for a few more days. Please check here or our facebook page before you ride. We had a great turnout Sunday for our club ride and cookout. It was great to see everyone, lots of current members and lots of new members! I want to thank Matt and Heather for opening their camp as our lunch destination. I would like to thank everyone that helped (donate food, time and money) to make it a huge success! As we close the season, none of this would be possible without all the great landowners we have across Solon and the whole state that let us enjoy their land! Have a great summer, keep an eye out for events over the summer.....you never know what we might plan.....
Well, we made it through round one of the warm up and rain, looks like round two in on tap for this week. Hoping for colder temps and some more snow. We will be putting grooming operations on hold until we get some more snow. If you do venture out use caution as we have reports of a few washouts on the trails, also expect icy conditions.
With warm temps and rain in the forecast we are on hold for grooming. Hoping the weather man is right, and we get back to some snow next week. So far the base has been taking the warmth ok, please use caution and expect spring riding until things freeze back up
After all the new snow in the last week, all trails have been packed with a machine, the last two trails will be groomed today. We will be holding a volunteer safety check 2/19/2017 on our section of ITS 87. We will have one of our groomers along with the fire dept side by side with the rescue toboggan. Ride safe.
